 Name: Lee Weapon: A katana called the Ryu-Yaiba Likes: Training, sparring, adventures, exploration, fighting, and fortune cookies. (And a special girl panda too…) Dislikes: Rivals, opponents, enemies, and birds that interrupt his nap. Bio: One of the most experienced and hard working martial art students with great talents and potential. Has a knack of learning and picking up stuff quickly and prefers to use his katana, the Ryu-Yaiba. He may look serious all the time and seem to have a lot of pressure on him, but deep inside he‘s a down-to-earth humble spirit. His greatest friend, and also his greatest rival, is Kane. The two of them can always be found sparring each other in a sword to sword match and likes to go exploring with his old best friend, Taka. Has more tolorence and respects his Sensei greatly. Memorable quote: “If I ever want to be the master of my own dojo like a great Kung-Fu master, then let me hear that snap in your neck now! |  Name: Kane Weapon: A large sword named the Behemoth Likes: Fighting, Arguing, being a smart-mouth, and egg rolls. Dislikes: Lee, Lee, Lee, Lee, and did I forget to mention Lee? Also dislikes idiots. Bio: A rash, bold, and stubborn panda who finishes everything off. The easily angered and annoyed type of panda that trains continuously out of frustration with his oversize sword, the Behemoth. Although he fights Lee as if it was a death match, he would consider him as a friend… rarely. Lee is his greatest rival yet also the greatest friend. He’s easily annoyed by Taka for his idiocy but of course Taka is the one who sometime pulls him out of a jam with his human-loving technology. Memorable quote: “I want my big-@$$ sword!!” |
 Name: Taka Weapon: Chopsticks Likes: Lots of ramen noodles, rice, clothes, fun, and anything made by man. Dislikes: …Nothing really. Except big scary enemies who are about to eat him. Bio: The optimistic type of panda that’s easily memorable for his little Chinese hat and a T-shirt along with his chopsticks. Although Kane and Lee may disagree on Taka’s weapon of choice, but chopsticks can be really effective at certain times if you know how to use them well. Memorable quote: “Ramen!” |  Name: Lien Weapon: Sniffer the dog Likes: Flowers, tea parties, and her friends. Dislikes: A lot of fighting between Lee and Kane. Bio: The innocent and charming female panda who always knows the right things to say to cheer someone up. She prefers not to fight but settles things over with a cup of tea. But when that’s not an option, she always has her dog, Sniffer, to attack her enemies and defend her. She loves to help others and is willing to treat someone to a cup of tea. Memorable quote: “Oh-no, I better get the First-Aid Kit.” |
 Name: Chen-Po Weapon: Belly Likes: Bamboo, apples, pears, bananas, tree bark, peanuts, rice, and anything that’s edible. Dislikes: Anything that’s not edible. Bio: He’s greater than life and the biggest panda around. He’s a peaceful giant who would rather eat than fight but when push comes to shove, he’ll fight with his strength and belly. He’s one panda that you would not like to have doing a body slam on you nor a bear hug; although it may be in the best of intentions. He follows the style of sumo fighting and it best fits him and his belly. Memorable quote: “Belly Flop!!!” |  Name: Sensei Weapon: Staff Likes: Teaching, sleeping, tea, talking, whacking students over the head with his staff, and his “lively” wife, Anna. Dislikes: Insubordinate students. Bio: An old and wise panda who teaches his students the way of martial arts. He's patient, caring, hard-working, wise, and is brave against all odds... But is whipped like a dog by his poltergeist wife, Anna. She can't be seen but she can be heard loud and clear. She also has a tendency to toss things at you if you don't follow her instructions. His way of transportation is riding his giant tortoise, Genta, who is even older that Sensei himself! He may look heavy with that shell on but he’s a speedy turtle. Memorable quote: "She's so abusive yet so sweet!" |
 Name: Lucky Weapon: Horns Likes: Grass, hay, and frolicking in the fields. Dislikes: Towing large wagons. Bio: A young ox who frolics in the pastures and doesn't have a care in the world except eating, sleeping, playing with his panda friends, and being lucky not to become dinner to the tiger, Mihira. His relationship with the tiger is very much like a Roadrunner and Coyote scenario. Memorable quote: "Me so lucky!" |  Name: Mihira-kun Weapon: Claws and teeth. Likes: Meat. Flesh. Beef. And anything that's meaty. Dislikes: Fruits, vegetables, and bamboo. And annoyed by the baby pandas. Bio: The great fierce tiger of the jungle, Mihira! But all the baby pandas call him "Mihira-kun" which is his full name... I guess. His favorite pass time is hunting his dinner, Lucky; although he never gets a chance to get even 5 feet of touching him. Except maybe once... But that was probably a fluke. Memorable quote: "I was so close to tasting dinner!!" |
 Name: Haru, Jiro, San, and Ai Weapon: Strength in numbers Likes: Adventure and being a tiger hunter. Dislikes: Afternoon nap time. Bio: These four are four young baby pandas still experiencing the world from their point-of-view; having imaginary adventures, and imaginary monsters chasing them. Still being young and naďve, they can’t ssem to get it that Mihira truly dislikes them unless they’re trying to gain his friendship. A tiger and bunch of baby pandas… You can already tell this isn’t such a good idea. Memorable quote: “Mihira! Mihira! We pounced ya! We pounced ya!” |  Name: Sniffer Weapon: Teeth & Claws Likes: Chew toys, bouncy balls, sticks, bones, and Lien. Dislikes: CATS! Bio: Sniffer the dog can always be found close to Lien no matter what. He’s still a young pup and has much to learn but already Lien has taught Sniffer how to speak, in words! Although it’s a slow and growing process, he’s most memorable for his first and most famous word in Kung-Fu Pandas, “Happy!” Memorable quote: “Happy!” |
 Name: Bao, Kin, Kai, Van, and Joy Weapon: Strength in numbers and tree twigs… Likes: Stealing, hiding, and being sneaky. Dislikes: Sometime each other…usually. Bio: They’re a band of thieving red pandas with a stubborn one-eyed commander named Bao. Kin, who wears a polka-dotted mask, is too polite towards others. Kai is the red panda that wears a headband with the tree sign on his head who continuously argues with Van, the one in the plain mask; over the controversial debate of if red pandas are really pandas or raccoons. None of them know. And finally Joy is the girl of the group who keeps a close watch over them and keeps their heads out of trouble before it’s too late. They’ve stolen all sorts of trinkets and Taka really likes them, since they have a whole closet full of stolen human clothes and trinkets. Memorable quote: “Viva las Red Pandas!” |
